Ultrasound


An Ultrasound is a procedure that uses high frequency sound waves to create the images of part of the inside the body. Ultrasound imaging is also called as Sonography or Ultrasound scanning which involve the use of small transducer and gel placed on the skin. It is usually painless. However you may experience mild discomfort as the sonographer guides the probe over the body, experience if you are required to have a full bladder, or inserts it into your body. Your physician may recommend if you have pain, swelling and other symptoms that require an internal view of your organ. It is used to detect the changes in size or appearance of a tissues, organs or vessels in the body. Ultrasound in New Ashok Nagar is a convenient and accessible tool for exam. An Ultrasound is generally performed for all pregnant women around 20 weeks into her pregnancy. During this ultrasound, the doctor will confirm that the placenta is healthy and that your baby is growing properly in the uterus.
