Ultrasound

An Ultrasound is a procedure that uses high frequency sound waves to create the images of part of the inside the body. Ultrasound imaging is also called as Sonography or Ultrasound scanning which involve the use of small transducer and gel placed on the skin. It is usually painless. However you may experience mild discomfort as the sonographer guides the probe over the body, experience if you are required to have a full bladder, or inserts it into your body.
